How to choose stainless steel plate

Stainless steel plates mainly include two types: original rolls and flat plates, and each type has different models with different specifications. The main types are as follows. Cold rolled coil stainless steel sheet specifications: the thickness is generally 0.3-3mm, and the thickness is 4-6mm, and the width is 0.6-1.5m. The specifications of the hot rolled coil stainless steel sheet: the thickness is generally 3-14mm, there are also 16mm, and the width is 1250, 1500, 1800, 2000mm. The width of the raw edge roll is generally 1520, 1530, 1550, 2200mm, etc., which is wider than the normal width. The specifications of the original flat stainless steel plate: the thickness is mostly between 4mm-80mm, the thicker is also 100mm and 120mm, the width is 1.5, 1.8, 2m; the length is more than 6 meters. Generally, it can be divided into stainless steel thin plate, stainless steel medium plate, stainless steel thick plate and stainless steel medium plate according to the thickness.

Select the stainless steel plate to consider the operating conditions, such as manual operation or automatic operation, the performance and type of the hot press, and the quality requirements of the pressed material such as hardness and gloss. It is also necessary to consider economic calculations, each time a newly polished steel plate is required to be able to produce a decorative plate with a low quality.

In addition, when choosing a reasonable thickness of the steel plate, its service time, quality, and rigidity should be considered, as well as the strength requirements of the plate under compression; thermal conductivity; pressure distribution, and the size of the plate.

If the thickness of the steel plate is not enough, it is easy to bend, which will affect the production of decorative boards. If the thickness is too large, the steel plate is too heavy, which not only increases the cost of the steel plate, but also causes unnecessary difficulties in operation. At the same time, consideration should be given to the margin that should be left when processing or using stainless steel plates. The thickness of the steel plate is not exactly the same, but the thickness of the same steel plate is strived to be as consistent as possible. Generally, the saw blade of medium specifications has a thickness tolerance of 0.05-o.15 mm. If the requirements are too strict, the grinding cost will increase accordingly. Generally, it is a steel plate with high tensile strength and high rigidity. The greater the resistance to mechanical damage, the longer the service life. However, the grinding processing cost is relatively high.
